About Us
Grover City Engine is an automotive engine machine shop in Grover Beach, proudly serving California’s Central Coast. We’re a small, hands-on team with nearly four decades of combined experience in the industry. We love engines and the work that goes into building them, from careful parts selection to machining and final assembly. Our machining background includes learning alongside a world-renowned machinist and engine builder whose career spanned well over 50 years. We have a deep respect for the craft and take satisfaction in a careful setup, a good finish, and parts that fit as they should. It’s a trade with fewer hands to carry it on, and we’re proud to do our part.Whether you need a set of cylinder heads rebuilt, machining for an engine you’re building yourself, or a complete engine rebuild, you work directly with the people doing the job. We enjoy talking engines and getting to know the people who bring us their projects.
